Bag-in-Box and Aseptic Bags for Liquid Food Packaging
Bag-in-box bags and aseptic filling bags for liquid foods are available through Jinhong Packaging’s selected manufacturing partners. We coordinate bag capacity, material structure, fitments, samples and available supporting documents according to your product and filling process.
Options can be reviewed for juice, concentrates, fruit puree, tomato paste, syrups, edible oils and other liquid or semi-liquid foods. The appropriate bag depends on the contents, filling conditions, equipment connection, storage and transportation requirements.

Bag-in-Box and Aseptic Bag Options
Bag-in-Box Inner Bags
Flexible inner bags are used with a suitable outer box to contain and dispense liquid products. Transparent and metallized structures, dispensing taps and screw-cap options can be reviewed according to the application.
Please share the required filling volume, product characteristics, filling method and dispensing requirements. We will coordinate a suitable bag and fitment combination with the selected manufacturing partner.
Aseptic Filling Bags
Aseptic bags are intended for compatible aseptic filling systems, including selected applications for fruit puree, concentrated juice and tomato paste. Bag construction, sterilization treatment and filling fitment must be confirmed for the specific process.
For drum-packed applications, the inner bag and fitment should also be matched to the supporting container and handling conditions. Please provide your filling-machine make and model, or a drawing and photos of the current connection.
Choosing the Right Configuration
Bag-in-box describes a packaging format; aseptic describes the requirements of a packaging and filling process. A bag-in-box bag is not automatically suitable for aseptic filling.
We review these requirements separately before confirming the product specification. Suitability for aseptic filling, hot filling or other processes is assessed for each bag construction and application.
Bag-in-Box Bags: Capacities and Material Options
Supplier catalogue references include capacities from 1L to 220L. Common examples include 1L, 3L, 5L, 10L, 15L, 20L, 25L and 30L bags, alongside 220L formats for drum-packed applications.
These are reference capacities, not a live stock list. Available dimensions, materials and fitments are confirmed for each specification.
| Selection Item | Options and Details to Confirm |
|---|---|
| Capacity | Required filling volume, bag dimensions and outer-container dimensions |
| Bag structure | Transparent or metallized multilayer structures, selected according to the contents and required protection |
| Barrier requirements | Required protection against oxygen, moisture and light |
| Fitment | Dispensing tap, screw cap or aseptic filling fitment, subject to application and equipment compatibility |
| Supply format | Individual bags or connected bags, where available for the selected filling system |
| Filling conditions | Aseptic, hot-fill or other requirements, reviewed separately for each construction |
| Outer packaging | Box, drum or other supporting container, with bag positioning and fitment access confirmed |
| Identification | Required labels, printing and batch identification |

Fitments and Filling-Equipment Compatibility
The fitment must match both the bag construction and the filling or dispensing equipment. Similar-looking spouts and caps should not be assumed to be interchangeable.
For an existing packing line, please provide:
- Filling-machine manufacturer and model.
- Current bag and fitment photos.
- Fitment drawing or connection dimensions, if available.
- Product type and required filling volume.
- Filling temperature and process.
- Required dispensing method.
We coordinate the fitment review and sample availability with the selected manufacturing partner. Samples should be evaluated on the intended equipment before the final specification is approved.
Food Applications
Bag and fitment options can be reviewed for:
- Fruit juice and concentrated juice.
- Fruit puree and tomato paste.
- Syrups and other liquid food ingredients.
- Edible oils.
- Selected sauces and semi-liquid foods.
Selection depends on product characteristics such as acidity, viscosity, particles and fat content, together with filling conditions, storage temperature and the intended shelf life.
The intended shelf life must be established for the complete product and packaging process. It cannot be determined from bag capacity or appearance alone.
For foods processed in sealed pouches, explore our retort pouches. For cooking and roasting applications, see our oven bags. These formats serve different purposes from bag-in-box bags and should be selected according to the intended process.
For projects supplied to the European Union, see the European Commission’s food contact materials guidance for an overview of the applicable framework. Supporting documents should be reviewed for the specific bag construction and intended use.
Samples and Supporting Documents
Jinhong Packaging coordinates samples and available supporting documents through selected manufacturing partners. Existing samples can help assess dimensions, fitment connections and handling; customized samples depend on the confirmed construction, quantity, cost and preparation time.
Depending on the selected product, documents for review may include:
- Bag specifications and material identification.
- Fitment drawings or dimensional information.
- Food-contact declarations and relevant test reports.
- Sterilization information and batch records for aseptic bags, where available.
- Storage instructions and recommended conditions for unused bags.
Document availability and applicability are confirmed for the specific bag, intended food and destination market. Samples should be evaluated with the actual product, filling equipment and packing process before order approval.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are all bag-in-box bags suitable for aseptic filling?
No. Bag-in-box describes a packaging format. Aseptic filling requires a suitable bag, fitment, sterilization treatment and compatible filling process. Please specify whether you need an aseptic bag or a bag for another filling method.
What capacities can you supply?
Supplier catalogue references cover selected capacities from 1L to 220L. Availability depends on the bag construction, fitment and order quantity. Please share your filling volume and outer-container dimensions so we can review a suitable specification.
Can you match our existing filling machine?
We can coordinate a compatibility review with the selected manufacturing partner. Please provide the machine make and model, current fitment photos and any available connection drawings. Compatibility should be checked through sample evaluation on your equipment.
Can the same bag be used for juice, oil and sauces?
Not automatically. Material and fitment selection depend on the contents, filling conditions, barrier requirements and dispensing method. A specification suitable for one product should not be assumed suitable for another.
Can you supply the outer box or drum?
Please specify whether you need inner bags only or supporting outer packaging as well. Availability, dimensions, minimum order quantities and shipping arrangements will be reviewed separately.
What are the minimum order quantity and lead time?
MOQ and lead time depend on capacity, material structure, fitment, sterilization requirements and customization. These details are confirmed after reviewing the specification. Sample preparation time is quoted separately where applicable.
